The Edges

I’m of the belief now (probably haven’t always been but it’s something you learn as you grow) that structure is a good thing and that you can want “open worship” so much that you actually force something that isn’t there and it isn’t good. Rivers move and bend but they have edges that keep them in place. We have to be open to bend with the river, but have that structure in place to give us guidelines and somewhere to start.

Sometimes the river gets deep and you go deep, sometimes it’s shallow and it’s time to play, sometime it gets wild, and sometimes its still and you rest. It’s all about knowing the river of the Spirit and enjoying every aspect of it. I am a fan of every area of Him.
